Power Rankings:
1. UT Arlington (5-4): The Lady Mavs continued their holiday road trip with a win at Arkansas-Little Rock, making that a three game winning streak.
2. Southern Utah (7-2): The TBirds split the week, rallying for a win against New Mexico State behind a pair of career performances from Sierra Chambers, but falling at Colorado State after hanging in there for a half.
3. ACU (6-3): The Wildcats bounced back from a tough trip to Florida with a non-D1 win over McMurry and a road win at East Texas A&M. Third quarters still seem to be an issue for the Wildcats as a poor third quarter let the Lions back into the game.
4. CBU (6-3): It was a tough week for the Lancers, who fell behind by as many as 21 in a loss at Pepperdine before losing by nine and eight with a minute to go at Boise State before falling by two points despite hitting 12 3-pointers.
5. Tarleton State (5-4): A solid week for the Texans with a non-DI win at home and a road win at Mississippi Valley State.
6. Utah Tech (4-4): It was a tough week for the Trailblazers, who dropped a pair of home games against McNeese State and New Mexico State. Against the Aggies, Utah Tech led for a good chunk of the game before succumbing to a late comeback.
7. Utah Valley (5-3): The Wolverines had a lead against Air Force in a rematch of last year’s WNIT opening round game but fell. Amanda Barcello returned to the lineup after missing a pair of contests due to injury but Halle Nelson missed Saturday’s game.
