The Southern Utah University women's basketball team dealt with quite a bit of adversity in 2023-24, one year after winning the WAC regular season and tournament titles.

But, 2024-25 is a new day, and there is some excitement in Cedar City as everyone is healthy, there is more athleticism, and there is a good deal of experience.
